Pretty – Part 1

There is so much beauty around us and often we just don’t take the time to see it.  Here are some shots that I took at Badplaas in really miserable weather.  If it wasn’t raining it was drizzling or misty.  Definitely not outdoor weather unless you’re a duck or a frog.  But I braved the elements and here’s some of what I came up with.

The sun tried really hard to break through the clouds and was making the most beautiful patterns in the clouds and giving a really eerie light

There was a Kingfisher in a tree outside the club house that we determined to get a meal – even in the pouring rain! If I am not mistaken, I think this is a Brownhooded Kingfisher.
